Edward Allen Reynolds, Sr, 67 yrs, of Erie, died Saturday, September 26th  at St. Anne's Mercy Hospital, Toledo. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Tuesday from 12 Noon to 9 PM. Services will be at the funeral home Wednesday at 11 AM. Pastor Albert Nelson of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Summerfield, will officiate. Burial will be in LaSalle Twp. Cemetery.

Born November 18, 1941, in Monroe, he was the son of Gerald and Ruth (Sindelar-Salo) Reynolds. An Ida High School Graduate, he married Janice Thompson December 10, 1960 at East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church. Edward worked as a mechanic for Toledo Jeep for 28 yrs, and for the past two years was a driver for NAPA Auto Parts, of Monroe.

Surviving are: his wife, Janice; two sons, Gerald (Lisa) Reynolds, and Michael Reynolds; a daughter, Barbara (Alan) Gerber; a brother, John "Jack" (Nelda) Reynolds; a sister, Mary Cronenwett; grandchildren, Annie, Tim, Tabitha, Matt, Justin, Gerald, Jr, Julius, and Ashley; great-granddaughters, Trinity and Madison; and his dog Misty. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Edward and Thomas, and step-father, Roy Salo.

Memorial contributions for Mr. Reynolds may be made to Monroe County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
