Our Sweet Rose left us and joined her Father in Heaven on January 24, 2009. She was surrounded by family and is now in peace.

Rose Marie Hunt, 54 yrs, of Petersburg, died Saturday, after a long siege with cancer. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Monday from 5-9 PM, and Tuesday from 1-9 PM. She will lie in state at the Bridgepoint Church in Temperance, Wednesday from 10 AM until services at 11 AM. Pastor Harold Raymond, of Amazing Grace Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg.

Rose was born September 26, 1954, in Toledo, to Edward and Rita (Guindon) Commet. A 1972 Summerfield High School Graduate, she married Jeff Hunt August 2, 1997, in Ida. She was employed by ServPro in Temperance, and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Ida.

Surviving are: her husband, Jeff; six children, Jessica (Don) Cribbs, of Burbank, CA, Jeffrey Johnson, of Harwood, MD, Joseph Johnson, of Toledo, Kelly (Jim) Kalb, of Petersburg, Samual Hunt, of Petersburg, Mandy Hunt and her fiance Tyler Stein, of Maybee; two brothers Don (Vicky) Commet, of Cresco, MI, Bob (Julie) Commet, of Petersburg; two sisters, Sharon (Doug) Welker, of Petersburg, Brenda Winters, of Delta, OH; and five grandchildren, Grace, Bryce, Shelby, Hayden, and Reece.
