Robert R. Farnsworth, 52 yrs, of Petersburg, died Monday, August 3rd. Graveside services will be at 11 AM Thursday, in Pleasant view Cemetery, Petersburg. Rev. Michael Bryan, of St. Joseph Mercy Hospice, will officiate.

Robert was born January 26, 1956, in Trenton, to Robert G. and Helen S. (Patalan) Farnsworth. A construction worker he was a member of Local 334, Monroe, for 20 yrs, and had previously been employed by Clean-Tech, of Dundee. Robert and Desire Cilley were married July 7, 1983, in Rapid City, MI. He loved to build, cook, garden, and take care of his family.

Surviving are: his wife, Desiree; five sons, Adam Cilley, Robert Cilley, Paul Farnsworth, Derrick Farnsworth, all of Petersburg, Curtis (Rikki) Cilley, of Dundee; a daughter, Shamber (Rick) LaPlante, of Petersburg; two brothers, Gary Marut, of MI, Mark (Pam) Farnsworth, of Maybee; a sister, Carol, of MI; and three grandchildren, Heaven, Alyssa, and Lyrica. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Terry Therion.

Memorial contributions for Mr. Farnsworth may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
