Lloyd Cevora, 91 yrs, of Petersburg, died Sunday, August 9th, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Wednesday from 2-9 PM. He will lie in state at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Petersburg, Thursday from 10 AM until services at 11 AM. Pastor Mark S. Flory will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg.
Born October 15, 1917, in Detroit, he was the son of Frank and Francis (Czarney) Cevora. He married F. Fay Crom November 18, 1939, in Angola IN. She died in 1993. Lloyd was the manager for the Petersburg Waste Water Plant. He retired in 1983. Mr. Cevoras was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, and a former member of the Dad's Club, VFW Post 6509, Petersburg. He loved gardening and being with his family.
Surviving are: a son, Lloyd "Jim" (Audrey), of Norfolk, VA; two daughters, Dolores (Louis) Golembieski, of Ida, Marilyn (Terry) Diver, of Petersburg; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers, and a sister.
