Ola I. Bruns, 89 yrs, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Deerfield, died at her residence October 28, while under the care of Hospice Family Care. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home

Wednesday from 2-8 P.M. Services will be at the funeral home Thursday at 1:00 P.M. Rev. Albert Nelson of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Summerfield and Rev. Keith Koppenhofer, of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Freemont, OH, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg.

Born June 3, 1919 in Bedford Twp, she was the daughter of Fred and Ida (Chettenger) Schmidt. She married Floyd G. Bruns August 14, 1936 in Columbia City, IN. and celebrated their 72nd anniversary in August. Formerly a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, she was currently a member of Lord of Grace Lutheran Church, Tucson.

Survivors include: her husband, Floyd; two sons, Donald, of Marona, AZ, Elmer (Carla), of SanJ ose, CA; a daughter, Betty (David) McCollum, of Petersburg; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul; four brothers and 2 sisters.

Memorial contributions for Mrs. Bruns may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Hospitals for Crippled Children.
